Shahnaz Husain Biography and Works.

Shahnaz Husain was born in Pakistan and hails from a traditional royal Muslim family background. She got married at the age of 15 and has a son, Sameer.

She is the Chairperson of the Shahnaz Husain Group, a leading Indian company dealing with beauty and anti-ageing products. She also manages Shahnaz Husain’s Beauty Institutes offering courses, such as diploma and post-graduate diploma in skin and beauty therapy as well as a number of short-term vocational courses.

After her marriage, she went off to Iran with her husband. She became interested in cosmetology. She soon realized the harmful effects of chemical cosmetics and turned her attention to herbals and Ayurveda.

Shahnaz Husain was a pioneer in the field of Ayurvedic and herbal cosmetics.

Her company ‘Shahnaz Husain Herbals’ witnessed tremendous growth throughout these years. She has launched more than 400 different kinds of beauty products.

People are becoming more and more conscious about the way they look in the contemporary times. It is here that Shahnaz Husain is playing a major role by providing people with products that can bring the glow back to their skin. Shahnaz Husain received many awards including the Padma Shri in 2006 and the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Award. She was voted the Woman of the Year by the Success magazine in 1996.
